# REL AI: Remediation Execution Layer

REL AI is an ElasticD3M, LLC Agent-as-a-Service product. It deploys into the customer's environment under the customer's authorization model and kill switch, in United States regions.

## What it does
1. Contain: micro-segment the network around a threat and isolate affected systems.
2. Remediate: apply the approved fix (patch, configuration, access control, encryption, policy).
3. Validate: confirm the remediation held.
4. Reverse: automatic rollback to prior state on any failed remediation (zero-fail design target).
Every action is write-ahead logged with cryptographic chain of custody.

## Control model
- The customer authorizes every action that changes their environment; nothing runs without sign-off, and the customer holds a hard stop (kill switch).
- Pairs with Eject AI™, which forensically removes the contained artifact and confirms the attack vector is closed.
